Who do I see?

Routine appointments

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:30pm.

The easiest way to request an appointment is by using Rapid Health, our secure online system.  Rapid Health helps us understand your symptoms and make sure you get the right care. You may be offered an appointment straight away. If not, a clinician will review your request, and we will contact you.

You can fill in the form using your own device or on a kiosk in the practice.

Submit a Rapid Health Request

If you are not able to use the online form yourself, you can ask a relative or carer to complete it for you, come into the practice and use a kiosk (help is available), or call us on 01983 295 251.

 Appointments for the following must still be booked by phone, in person, or in response to a text invite:

  • nurse, healthcare assistant, phlebotomy appointments (such as blood tests, wound care, vaccinations, or long-term condition reviews)
  • social prescriber
  • health & wellbeing coach
  • Dietitian
  • medication reviews
  • home visit requests
  • follow-up appointments

Cancelling or Changing Your Appointment

If you no longer need your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to another patient.

You can cancel or amend your appointment in one of the following ways:

  • Use the link in your Rapid Health confirmation email – this is the quickest and easiest way to cancel or change your appointment. It updates your medical record automatically.
  • Reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message, if you received one.
  • Phone us on 01983 295 251 (if your appointment is less than 48 hours away)
  • Use our online form if you do not have your confirmation email (if the appointment is more than 48 hours away).

Please help us reduce missed appointments by cancelling as soon as you can.

Chaperones

You are entitled to request or we may offer the presence of a chaperone during your consultation or procedure. This can be a nurse, health care assistant or appropriate member of staff from the surgery, with your agreement. If you are not sure whether or not you would like a chaperone please contact the surgery to discuss before your appointment.

Urgent Appointments

Extended Access

We offer extended hours on some Saturday mornings for specific pre-booked clinics – such as flu and covid vaccinations, cervical screening, skin reviews.

Home Visits

Home visits are for housebound patients (bed bound), or exceptionally for other health limiting reasons..  A clinician will review the request and then confirm next steps.

If you are housebound and need a home visit, please call us before 10:30am on 01983 295 251.

Patients who are mobile, but without a car, need to arrange their own transport and attend the Practice.
